“Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location” is set to make this Halloween season creepier for gamers who have anticipated the release of the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” sequel. By the looks of things, Scott Cawthon has carefully planned out this first-ever subtitled installment of the popular series. Below are five things expectant players should learn about “FNAF 5.”

1. New Setting

While the previous “Five Nights at Freddy’s” installments were all set in Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, a pizza parlor with creepy animatronic entertainers, “Sister Location” is set in a different restaurant that is still affiliated with the former, Polygon reports.

Hence, a good explanation as to why this installment is subtitled “Sister Location” is because players will be in a different yet familiar location when they play “FNAF 5.” Based on the official description of the upcoming video game, the restaurant is called Circus Baby’s Pizza World, and the animatronics to watch out for is led by no other than Circus Baby herself.

2. New Role

Instead of playing the role of a security guard, players will now play the role of a late night technician who will be in charge of checking on Circus Baby and the gang of spooky animatronics. In the game description found on Steam, it was even specified that the technician should “enjoy cramped spaces” and is “comfortable around active machinery.”

Cinema Blend also noted that the technician should be aware that Circus Baby’s Pizza World will not be responsible for the technician’s dismemberment or death. Meanwhile, one of the teaser images from the game shows the diagnostic room where the technician will most likely be working. The room has many wires dangling from the ceiling. Funtime Freddy could be seen standing at the right side of the image and just behind him are a pair of glowing eyes, as pointed out by 8-BitGaming.

3. System Requirements

“Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location” will be released on PC, so players must be aware what the system requirements are for this game. According to Steam’s official page for “FNAF 5,” it is recommended that the PC of gamers should be running Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista, or Windows 10.

Players should also see to it that their PC has a 2 GHz Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon or any of its equivalent as processor. The recommended memory and storage space for the horror game are 2GB RAM and 2GB available space. However, computers with 1GB RAM and 1GB available space can also run “Sister Location,” since they are the minimum requirements to meet.

4. Release Date

Steam listed the official release date of “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location” to be on Oct. 28, 2016, just three days before Halloween.

5. Possible Early Release

Though the game already has a release date, it is still possible for it to be released earlier. VG24/7 stated that Cawthon has a history of not sticking to the release dates of his simulation games, so it will not be surprising if “FNAF 5” will arrive this month or next month.
