Every young actor in Hollywood would die to play Christian Grey in the highly anticipated film adaptation of E.L. James' erotic novel, "Fifty Shades of Grey." That is everyone except for Garrett Hedlund who, according to Us Magazine, has turned down the lead role.

"Doing a possible trilogy was too big a commitment, and producers wouldn't let him do just one film," says the insider about the "Tron: Legacy" actor passing on the movie.

Maybe for Hedlund being part of the "Tron" franchise is enough for him and doesn't want to take on another role where he would play the same character in a series of films.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" is set for release in August 2014, but no casting has been definite and names to play the title character, like Matt Bomer and Ian Somerhalder, have been thrown around.

Another source revealed to the magazine that although Somerhalder has been ready to take on the "Grey" the author is not too keen on that idea. Maybe she is trying to get a bigger name attached to the movie.
