A new romantic telenovela by the producers of "Rebelde" and "Primer Amor," premieres tonight on Univision. Televisa

With the finale of "La Sombra Del Pasado," Univision's next primetime telenovela is a remake of the classic "Muchacha Italiana Viene A Casarse." The timeless piece about a young woman in love originally starred Angélica María and taking her place in this new version is the Cuban actress Livia Brito. This new melodrama is honors its original, keeping the same title and theme song, but updated to the new times. Pedro Damián, who previously produced "Rebelde," "Primer Amor," and many other teen hits, produces this new Televisa production that will captivate your hearts. Check out our 7 Reasons To Watch and tell us what you think:

1. Classic Telenovela: We loved "La Sombra Del Pasado," and we are ready for a classic storyline. Not that we don't like telenovelas like that one, we truly did love it, but we also adore the "rosa" novelas. Those stories that make us dream and fantasize that we live in a story book and everything is possible. "Muchacha Italiana" is just that, a story from rags to riches.

2. Amazing Italian Locations: Believe it or not, production actually flew and shot in real life locations in Italy. No, they didn't use a green screen with cliché Italian hotspots with the actors in front of them. They went to a small village in Italy and had scenes there. Spoiler Alert! The telenovela also shot scenes for the finale in Italy as well. You will love to travel with this novela.

3. Theme Song: The previous version starring Angélica María had a theme song that she sung herself. "A Dónde Va Nuestro Amor" was the title of the classic tune and it was updated by Playa Limbo to play during the opening credits of this new adaptation.

4. Lead Couple: Livia Brito and José Ron are the leading couple. We've all read the rumors that they are a hot couple, but they have both denied it. They have played with that to their benefit as they share amazing chemistry on-screen. You will notice the sparks as soon as their eyes cross each other during the premiere episode of "Muchacha Italiana Viene A Casarse."

5. Supporting Cast: This telenovela has an amazing supporting cast of vets like Isela Vega, Nailea Norvind, Fernando Allende, Salvador Pineda and Ricardo Rocha. It also includes José Pablo Minor, Eleazar Gomez, Raquel Garza, Maribel Guardia, Jessica Coch, Mimi Morales and many more.

6. Production Values: Pedro Damián is in export at his job and has taken great care of this telenovela. It looks like a story book, just by looking at the presentation you can tell this looks different. They also apply a filter to the images that also add to the factor that this all looks like a dream.

7. Ricardo Blume: If you know a little about telenovela history, you would know that Ricardo Blume was the lead guy in the Angélica María version. Look out for his guest starring role in the first episode.
