Aaron Hernandez was allegedly involed in a gang-related prison fight at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley, Massachusetts, reports CNN.

According to a law enforcement source with knowledge of the incident, the former professional football player agreed to be the lookout for another prisoner who went into another prisoner's cell. The two inmates got into a fight, which was believe to be gang-related.

Following the incident that ocurred Monday, the three men, including Hernandez, are being disciplined. Hernandez was put in a special managament section.

CNN also reports that this is not the first time the convicted murderer has gotten in trouble behind bars. Hernandez allegedly got into a brawl with another detainee at the Bristol County jail while he was awaiting his murder trial.

On April 15, 2015, Hernandez was found guilty of first-degree murder in the late-night shooting of a man near his home. The former New England Patriots star was also convicted of gun charges in the June 2013 killing of Odin Lloyd, who was dating Hernandez’ fiancée’s sister. The man was shot six times, and his body was found in a Massachusetts industrial park.
