Some new clues may have turned up in the Aaron Hernandez murder case. Investigators found an SUV, which was registered in his name, on his uncle's property in Bristol, Conn. that they were already searching for in conjunction with a July 2012 shooting at a Boston nightclub. Potential suspects in the incident, which left two dead, as well as the Odin Lloyd case were also found to be living in the home located at 114 Lake Ave. for a time. It does not appear that the former New England Patriots offense ever took up residency in the home. "It seems like people came and went at different times," said Lt. Kevin Morrell, head of the Bristol Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division. "We have Mr. Hernandez as a frequent guest. He would spend a night, but we don't have him ever living there."

The former NFL player Hernandez grew up not far from the home. Police discovered Lloyd's body not far from his mansion in North Attleborough, Mass. His potential compatriots Ernest Wallace, who is also a suspect in the nightclub shooting, and Carlos Ortiz each spent time in his uncle's home. Both have criminal records and are believed to have returned to the Lake Avenue home after Lloyd's death, according to police reports. Hernandez is accused of shooting 27-year-old Lloyd to death in July. He plead not guilty. The suspected trio is believed to be part of a larger group of friends that included Tanya Singleton and her husband, Thaddeus Singleton III, who died when he vehicle went off the road. Police have ruled the death accidental.

Thaddeus was facing a number of criminal charges before his death for a February arrest, including heroin trafficking. Police said he was "well known" in the area with regards to crime. Tanya Singleton has been in a Massachusetts jail for criminal contempt charges when she refused to testify at the grand jury hearing that subsequently led to Hernandez's murder indictment. It is unclear how Tanya relates to the group of friends, though Wallace was seen apparently mouthing the phrases "I love you" and "I miss you" to her while she watched his court proceedings. While searching the home, police found 100 cartridges of .38-caliber and the SUV in relation to the 2012 incident.
