Before Alaïa came to this world, Adamari López lived in constant struggle trying to become a mother for the first time. The “Un Nuevo Día” host was diagnosed with stage one breast cancer in 2005 and underwent a successful partial mastectomy, as well as chemotherapy.

When the day finally arrived, Ada, as her friends and family call her, declared her baby girl was “a miracle of God.”

On Friday, Adamari celebrated Mother’s Day with her colleagues on the Telemundo morning show and received a very special surprise from her partner Toni Costa and her beautiful one-year-old daughter.

“She doesn’t know anything yet,” Costa said prior to spilling the beans. “We went to Art Box this morning to prepare a big surprise for you and we hope you love it. You’ll see.”

Cut to the most adorable father-daughter video we’ve seen in a long time. In the footage, we can see the beautiful toddler working on her first Mother’s Day project ever, with her own little hands and feet.

Proud mama got to experience the behind the scenes of the first gift her daughter has ever made for her and of course, tears were inevitable.

“You guys have no idea how many years I received gifts from my nieces and nephews,” López disclosed after watching the clip. “They would draw paintings for me, and other things…but I never had the chance to have my own kid before.”

She continued, “A painting from her own hands is the greatest gift I could ever get because this is what I wished for all my life. So, thank you so much! I love you so much my love.”

After sharing these heartfelt words with her co-hosts, the masterpiece was revealed. This little one is ready to have one of her paintings in some of the world’s most famous museums and galleries.
