Last night on "American Idol” the Top 7 performed in front of the judges and America. The night’s theme was “Competitor’s Picks” basically meaning that they would choose songs for their fellow competitors. Tonight was results night.
Ryan called Jena, Dexter and Alex to center stage. The first person announced to stay in the competition was Jena Irene. That was an obvious choice due to the fact that she had the best performance. Alex Preston was also safe, he had the second best performance last night. Dexter Roberts had to take a seat in the bottom three.
Next, he called Sam, Caleb, C.J and Jessica. The next person that was announced safe was Caleb Johnson, but he is always a contstant great performer. Then C.j was also safe. Sam and Jessica remain and then Sam was announced safe. Jessica took a seat in the bottom two. One of them will be sent home. The contestant that left the competition tonight was Dexter Roberts.
