Antonio Morales "Junior," singer, songwriter and Rocío Dúrcal's widower has passed away in Madrid at the age of 70. The "Los Brincos" band member was found dead at his home by the gardner. He walked into his home in Torrelodones where he had to forced open his bedroom door as it was locked. "Junior" was taken to the hospital where doctors confirmed his death by natural causes. Antonio's daughter, Carmen Morales, was the first to arrive to the scene after he didn't answer any of her repeated phone calls. The medical examiner did not find any signs of physical abuse and said he had been dead between 12 to 14 hours before he was found.

Antonio Morales was born in Manila, Philippines on Sept. 10, 1943 during World War II and was the oldest of five sons. At the age of 15 his family emigrated to Barcelona and then later settled in Madrid, Spain. In 1957 he became part of the group Jump, an electric guitar group. He later on became part of Los Brincos with Juan Pardo and his brothers Miguel and Ricky Morales. By 1966 the group separated and with Juan and Junior moving on as a duet until 1969. The duo famously covered in Spanish "Fool On The Hill" by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. In 1970 he wed singer Rocío Dúrcal and had three children, Carmen Morales, Antonio Morales and Shaila Dúrcal. Junior took a back seat to manage Dúrcal's career and opened up a beauty center specializing in hair transplant in 1985 in Madrid. He also continued to write music and even produced musical albums for his children Carmen and Antonio.

In 2006 he became the widower of Rocío Dúrcal when the Spanish singer and actress passed away. Her inheritance became the center of controversy which put him at odds with his own children. Antonio fell into a deep depression as the family became involved in court battles over who would take what. It was Shaila that meddled to make peace amongst them and calm things down. Tension between the bloodline settled and Carmen's wedding also helped to bring back the lost love.
