The “Are You the One?” Reunion Special airs tomorrow night on MTV at 11 p.m. There are always surprises when it comes to a reunion, but this reunion promises to be a good one with unexpected twists. You won’t want to miss a minute of this reunion special.
Chris and Shanley stole each other's hearts the minute they set eyes on one another. They were put in the truth booth and it turned out that they were not a match. Chris was a perfect match with Paige, but he is pretty much in love with Shanley. After the show, they seem to still be pretty much in love, judging by their body language.
Once a pair goes in to the truth booth and turns out to be a perfect match, they have to leave the house and live in the “Honeymoon Suite” for some alone time. Chris T. said “I think going to the Honeymoon Suite early in the show is a bad idea. You don’t want to be matched too quickly.” Then Shanley added “That’s why I’m glad he wasn’t my perfect match. I didn’t know if I wanted to spend the rest of my time alone in the Honeymoon Suite with him. It could have ruined what we had.”
When it comes to their relationship, they are taking things slow but they have a great relationship. “We talk every single day. What you see on the show and as passionate as that was, when reality hits, that’s the real challenge. I wanted to move really quickly, and Shanley was like, no. That’s one of reasons I like her so much is that she calms me down. That’s why communication is so important. I commend her because putting up to me is a full-time job!” Chris T. said.
