Ariana Grande might not always be on her best behavior (enter donut-licking scandal) but she’s always been clear about her thoughts on equality and feminism. She even wrote a powerful essay, remember? The singer paid a visit to the hosts of Los Angeles' Power 106, but didn’t know she was about to be bombarded with questions about her makeup and phone, plus comments implying that duh, she likes unicorns cause she’s a girl. Right off the bat, the interview started with the question, “If you had to choose between your phone and makeup, which would you give up?” Grande didn’t skip a beat before she said, “Is this men assuming that that's what girls would have to choose between?” Good job, guys.

The hosts went on to other topics like emojis, where she ended up telling the DJ, “You need a little brushing up on equality here.” And when they finally asked Grande what she’d like to change in the world, she went right for it saying, “I have a long list of things I’d like to change …I think, judgement in general. Intolerance, meanness, double standards, misogyny, racism, sexism…We have got work to do … We’ll start with you, though.” Boom!

We're hoping DJs Justin Credible and Eric D-Lux learned a thing or two from the songstress.
