UPDATE: 'The Voice' Season 5 Live Eliminations Recap: See Top 12 Moving On To Week 2 Of Live Shows!

The Live Shows are always the best part of "The Voice" competition. And that was absolutely true this week based on the caliber of talent that the contestants brought to the stage on Monday and Tuesday. Both nights, coaches -- Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguliera -- had nothing be nice things to say to each of the performers. Though Blake did suggest that next week when the coaches are fighting against each other for spots, more criticism should come out. "Isn't it great how nice we're all being to each other?" said Blake. "That's because we're not against each other yet; next week, we're gonna be really mean to you." This week, each of the coaches' teams is being cut down from five to three. The voters pick each of the teams' top two artists and the coach gets to pick the third.

On Tuesday, Christina opened up the show with a duet performance of "Say Something" with breakout indie group A Great Big World. The stripped-down ballad was a hit which Carson Daly called "beautiful." From there, Team Cee Lo kicked of the live performances of the night and Team Xtina followed after him. Our top three performances of the night include: 1. From Team Xtina, Jacquie Lee performing "I Put A Spell On You" by Screamin' Jay Hawkins; 2. From Team Cee Lo, Caroline Pennell performing "We're Going To Be Friends" by The White Stripes and 3. From Team Xtina, Matthew Schuler performing "Wrecking Ball" by Miley Cyrus. Though, we really loved Jonny Gray doing "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve. Cee Lo called him the "last of a dying breed" when it came to Americana music. Also, Stephanie Anne Johnson had a breakout moment with "Georgia On My Mind" by Ray Charles.

Tonight, we shall see who the voters have saved and who the coaches pick to save from their teams. Though, based on this week's performances, guesses can be made on who is a potential Top 12 member and who is a send-home. Also, because voting is -- partly -- decided by how many people bought the artist's performance on iTunes, we can use the iTunes charts to make our guess on who is a definite shoe-in tonight. Will your favorites be saved? Check out our list below to see what we've come up with as our Top 12. Watch "The Voice" Mondays at 8/7C and Tuesdays at 9/8C on NBC. The special Thursday night show this week is at 8/7C on NBC tonight. You can watch full episodes after they air HERE on the show's website. Check out their YouTube channel with playlists of past performances of the contestants as well as the coaches performances.
