Don't scream "Fifty Shades of Grey" fans, but Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele are here in the flesh! Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are getting cozy on the November cover of Entertainment Weekly and despite a picture being worth a thousand words, all we can say is hot, hot, hot! The "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie has not had an easy time coming to fruition, first cast in the lead role was "Sons of Anarchy" star Charlie Hunnam, only to later drop of out the project due to scheduling conflicts. And now, even though the final cast is set, the release date has been pushed back six months, to arrive on Valentine Day in 2015. The lack of actual movie production, and disappointing casting has soured the loyal fan base of E.L. James's bestselling erotica trilogy, but hopefully the sexy EW cover can inject some life back into the movie project.
Not only does Dornan, who is set to play the main protagonist Grey, look the part, he is apparently ready for it. "There was a slight fear," the Irish actor said. "But beyond anything else, I was really f-ing excited." Dornan was most recently seen in ABC's hit series "Once Upon A Time" where he played the Huntsman in the fictional town of Storybrooke, Maine -- lucky for us he also has no qualms about baring his hot bod, Dornan began his career as a Calvin Klein model. Dornan is also set to embrace the sexy and erotic world that his on-screen character introduces the naïve Anastasia Steele to, "I grew up in a very liberal place. I'm not saying we had a playroom, but I'm not shocked by [the sex in the book]. It's essential to tell the story. I can't believe films that don't invoke the sexual side of it. So it works for me."
If it works for him, he certainly works for us! The two stars seem to really be embracing their new characters, Dakota Johnson who is relatively a new comer looks very much like the average yet beautiful Anastasia Steele, the actress recently dyed her light locks a chocolate brown in order to delve into character. And while we know that it is just a photo, the pair seem to have that very "Grey," sexy yet sweet chemistry already. Johnson looks gorgeous yet apprehensive, biting on her thumb, while Dornan is pulling in his on-screen love with a confident glare. With one shirt unbuttoned, and a perfectly tailored suit, Dornan is certainly working the billionaire business man look, and don't even get us started on that perfectly wrapped grey tie! It's all too good!
Although, while Johnson may play the insecure Steele on screen, the two share some characteristic off screen as well. When talking to EW about how she prepared for the role, Johnson revealed, "Obviously, I want to look good naked, I totally understand now why people exercise, because it kind of f-ing feels awesome."
