"Final Fantasy"
Will fans ever see "Kingdom Hearts 3" and "Final Fantasy XV?" At the rate Square Enix is going we are not sure. Final Fantasy

Square Enix may be working harder than fans think, their two forthcoming role-playing games "Final Fantasy XV" and "Kingdom Hearts 3" are looking good, well, from what we've seen of them. Despite the reported lack of production on the latest video game installments, both "Final Fantasy XV" and "Kingdom Hearts 3" made brief appearances in the PS4 All Access Show. However brief, both game titles were clearly accounted for in the PlayStation 4 montage. Their inclusion in the PS4 All Access show may indicate increased production by game director Tetsuya Nomura and his team and maybe even an early release than expected.

However, we shouldn't get too excited just yet, recent reports have claimed that despite the two titles inclusion in the PS4 video, the short clips of "Final Fantasy XV" and "Kingdom Hearts 3" did not feature any new footage. The KH3 clip was a cut scene, while the clip of FF14 contained a mixture of real-time gameplay and pre-rendered cinematic scenes. Both of these clips were previously seen by fans at Electronic Entertainment Expo early this year. According to the Examiner, the PS4 All Access Show was broadcast on Spike TV on November 15, in celebration of the next generation home console launch. In addition, to displaying the console, the event gave fans their first glimpse at the next video game from the "Uncharted" series set to be released for the PlayStation 4.

And while Nomura has plans to release both titles within the PS4's lifetime, Square Enix has yet to confirm a release date for either KH3 of FF14. The production company has stayed tight lipped about both titles. However, fans did recently learn that we will not see either title before March of 2014. Square Enix released a lineup of new video game releases for the next fiscal quarter, which ends in March 2014, "Final Fantasy XV" and "Kingdom Hearts 3" were both notably absent. Original estimates places the FF14 release date somewhere in 2014, and after the release lineup, the soonest possible release date for "Final Fantasy VX" will be in December of 2014. Meaning that "Kingdom Hearts 3" is still at least two years away, it seems unlikely that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be appearing on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One any earlier than 2015. So while fans are probably thrilled to see the game titles included in the PS4 All Access Show, we are thinking these clips are just more of a tease than anything.
