Sharkeisha is a name that's been making rounds on the Internet for the past week, after a video surfaced where a girl who is supposed to be her sucker punches another girl. The video was first posted on Instagram but removed due to their Terms of Use, which reads "You may not post violent, nude, partially nude, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, hateful, pornographic or sexually suggestive photos or other content via the Service." However, World Star Hip Hop got a hold of it and is back on the Internet, causing more controversy as more people watch it.

After the video went viral, many people expressed their admiration for the new infamous Internet celebrity and praised her attacking skills. Although some have concerns over the violent scene, they were overshadowed by those who think of Sharkeisha as a new "hero." Nevertheless, there's someone who definitely doesn't feel that way. Shamichael Manuel, who came forward as the victim of Sharkeisha, spoke to KHOU about the violent incident. "I was just in shock. I was like oh my God. Did she really do this? You're supposed to be my close friend," Manuel said.

Apparently, Sharkeisha was upset over a boy but didn't say anything to Shamichael. Instead, she set her up to beat her. "We were talking in school earlier that day. She made it seem like there was nothing wrong with her," explained Shamichael. A neighbor ended up coming to Manuel's rescue and driving her home. The attack left her with a black eye and a busted lip. She hasn't returned to school because she's had trouble seeing out of her right eye. "It is hurting and crushing to me," Manuel said. "I felt humiliated and embarrassed and hurt at the same time."

"The video's just going and going. They're making jokes, and they're taunting. They're glorifying the girl Sharkeisha, but they're taunting my daughter at the same time," said Shamichael's mother, Olevia Henderson. "I was in the grocery store, and the girl was checking out my groceries. The baggers were just laughing and talking about it. I said that's my daughter in that video, and their whole expression changed," she added. The mother said she reported the beating to an assistant principal at Cypress Creek High School, where the girls attend. However, school officials told her they couldn't do anything because the attack didn't happen on school grounds.

Sharkeisha was allegedly arrested but released on a $500 bail. "I'm going to have to deal with this for the rest of my life," said Shamichael, who has recovered from her black eye and busted lip, but knows people are laughing and sharing the video at her expense. "How would you feel if that was your daughter or your son and it happened to them how would you feel."
