We are only a couple of episodes away from "The Big Bang Theory" Season 6 finale, and things are going to heat up for our favorite nerds. It has been a wild ride: From Howard becoming an astronaut to Raj hitting it off with a girl to Sheldon and Amy living together -- even if for just a day -- Season 6 had a little bit for everybody.

The show is taking a week break, and "The Tenure Turbulence" will come to our TV sets on April 4. Word is that next episode will involve a fight in the classiest of versions -- an intellectual fight. Leonard, Sheldon and Raj will fight for tenure at the university, and their opponent will be none other than Sheldon's university nemesis: Barry Kripkee, who will return in all his lisp and glory for this episode.

This will not be the only return. Regina King will also guest star as Mrs. Davis, the head of the human resources department at the University with whom Sheldon already bumped heads earlier in the season.

Meanwhile, the girls will try to stay out of the problem with little success.

This will be the last we see of the scientist bunch until May, when the last couple of episodes are unveiled. The plots have not yet been revealed, but word is out that "Science Guy" Bob Newhart will be making an appearance. The 83-year-old actor will appear in a sitcom for the first time in over a decade.

Executive producer Bill Prady has also let slip that the finale will not have a cliffhanger or a great revelation, but will instead focus "on the small moments": "It will be a small story that is meaningful to the characters and to us writers on the show."

"The Tenure Turbulence" will premiere on April 4 on CBS.
