American Idol's episode 12 was filled with tears, feuds and elimination. Amber Holcomb was eliminated during last nights show. The 18-year-old Texas farm girl was apparently unimpressive to voters as she was eliminated before next week's semi-finals. With Amber out of the semi-finals, the final three ladies remaining are Angie Miller, Candice Glover, and Kree Harrison.

Seacrest announced first that fellow 18-year-old contestant Angie Miller was safe; next came Candice Glover from South Carolina, Seacrest than announced that she too was safe and advancing to the semi-finals.
With the first two spots filled by Miller and Glover, which left Texas, born contestants Kree Harrison and Amber Holcomb battling for the final spot in the semi-finals. With the lights dimmed Seacrest dramatically revealed that after more than 81 million votes the third safe contestant was Kree and unfortunately that meant Amber was eliminated from "American Idol" season 12.
Seacrest consoled the teary eyed Amber as she prepared to sing her final song on the "American Idol" stage, "You did such a great job, we are really proud of you."
Amber struggled to perform one final time and with the tears flowing, the talented singer could barely make it through her performance. Amber's father joined Amber on stage to console her, judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey also wept.
The show opened with a killer performance by all fur f the talented women. They sang an ultra-contemporary cover of Beyoncé's "Crazy in Love" which is featured on "The Great Gatsby" movie soundtrack.
Next week the final three contestants will take visits to thier hometowns where they will meet friends and family and perform for fans.
