While "Game of Thrones" fans are terrible at waiting between seasons, Kit Harington who plays Jon Snow says, it is totally worth the wait. Harington revealed that fans are in for an epic upcoming season 4 of their favorite HBO show. Harington sat down with Hero Complex at Comic-Con and gave a thrilling interview regarding his role for the new season and of course his relationship with George R.R. Martin's "A Series of Ice and Fire" which inspired the television adaption.

While he did not accidentally reveal any major spoilers like GRRM did about his character, Harington did reveal that viewers won't necessarily be seeing more of his character most likely due to the fact that "Game of Thrones" sustains one of the largest ensemble casts in TV history. And While Jon may not have any more camera time than we are used to seeing, Harington did tease, "There are some really important things that happen for my character this season." When we last left Jon he had turned his back on the Wildlings, betrayed Ygritte, and barley made it back to the wall after his feisty "free woman" girlfriend shot him with a few arrows for good measure. But now for season 4, the second half of the third book in Martin's series "A Storm of Swords" will be adapted for television.

"I've just finished reading [the script] and I genuinely think it's my favorite one so far," Harington said. "And that sounds like I'm pulling your leg. I'm not. I'm not doing the actor thing of saying 'each season is brilliant' because I have to. I think it's a really powerful season. It's very action-filled. Last season was a big impact season, this season is very action-packed. On paper it looks incredible, whether we can pull it off, who ... knows!"

But Harington also told viewers that the script isn't the only "Game of Thrones" literature he is reading. He said that he completely engrossed himself in the world of Westeros by reading the first four books of Martin's famed series after he landed the role of Jon Snow.

"I now need to catch up myself, as we're catching up to where I've read to in the books," he said. "We're on a whole new journey now. There's a big divide in the books. And if we get to Season 5, it will all get even more complicated. So I'm enjoying the journey."

Season 4 of "Game of Thrones" airs on HBO in 2014. How excited are you?!
