The "Biebs" is making headlines again, this time for something he didn't do according to his rep.

Last week Justin Bieber was in the spotlight for allegedly spitting on his fans that were gathered below his hotel balcony to catch a glimpse of their favorite star.

Bieber eventually came out to his balcony with a group of friends, waved at his fans, grabbed a video of them and posted it on Instagram thanking them for their support. "I wake up this morning to this :0 Best fans in the wotrld. #beliebers #sexyfans," he wrote.

After that sweet gesture, the pop superstar was sweet no more as he hurled saliva over at his fans while his friends looked on. The singer seemed to be pleased with himself, turning to his "crew" to laugh and snap pictures of them and the fans who got showered with his spit.

Paparazzi were also at the scene and photographed Bieber in the act.

TMZ was the first site to publish the pictures, and are now being accused of photoshopping them to incriminate Bieber, according to a statement made by the singer's rep.

"Justin didn't spit on anyone. No fans were below the balcony. TMZ superimposed photos of the fans next to Justin on a completely different balcony to make it appear like he was spitting on fans when he wasn't. In fact, earlier in the day, Justin bought his fans hot chocolate and played them some of his new music. Justin loves his fans," said the statement.

The celebrity news site fired back saying: "First, Justin ... there WERE fans below the balcony. In fact, Justin had posted a video of the crowds below his hotel room on his own Instagram page ... showing him on the same balcony depicted in the photos."

"Second, the photos were shot by a reputable photo agency and posted on our site per usual," they continued.

In fact, this spitting incident is not the first one on the singer's list. An Ohio DJ publicly charged Bieber with spitting on him at a Columbus night club, and in March, Bieber's Calabasas, Calif., neighbor claimed the pop star spit on him during an argument that came after the speeding allegations.

So who do we "beliebe," Justin's rep or the recent behavior of the singer? Could this path lead the Biebs to be the male version of 2007 Britney Spears?
