'Fast and Furious 7' May Cast UFC Champ Ronda Rousey: 5 Things To Know About The MMA Fighter

Ronda Rousey has sky rocketed to fame in the mixed martial arts world, but now the 26-year-old stunner may take her talents to Hollywood. Variety reports that Rousey is currently in negotiations to be cast in "Fast and Furious 7" as a supporting role. "Fast and Furious 7" will feature franchise faces Paul Walker and Vin Diesel. Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham have also joined the cast, and while much is still unknown about the seventh installment of the franchise, the film will be set in Los Angeles, where it all started. A major part of the negotiations for Rousey to be cast will be her willingness to move her training for the December 28 UFC Championship rematch against Miesha Tate to Atlanta where the film will begin shooting.

And while Rousey is certainly more fighter than actress just yet, if she is to be cast in "Fast and Furious 7," this will be Rousey second role in a Hollywood production. On July 23, 2013 Sylvester Stallone announced via his official Twitter account that Rousey is set to star in "The Expendables 3."

1. The MMA fighter is the first and current UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion, as well as the last Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion.

2. The #1 pound-for-pound female MMA fighter also earned an Olympic medal in Judo at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

3. Rousey became notorious within the UFC for introducing trash talking to Women's MMA. In many interviews Rousey has used harsh language and openly downplayed the abilities of her opponents.

4. Rousey posed nude for ESPN the Magazine's 2012 Body Issue. She is also currently the cover girl for Maxim's September issue.
