Actress Natalie Dormer will join the cast of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay." The third book in Susan Collins' series will be split into two movies. Natalie Dormer will be featured in both parts as Cressida. The character is a film director from the Capitol and a major player in shaping the events of the third book. "The Hunger Games" sequel "Catching Fire" will be out in theaters November 22, 2013. Part one of "Mockingjay" will open November 2014 and part two will be released November 2015.
Currently Natalie Dormer stars in the hugely successful HBO series "Game of Thrones." Dormer plays Margaery Tyrell a beautiful and intelligent young woman from a prominent family. The Tyrell family is ambitious and Margaery has her own desires of becoming "the Queen." She is engaged to the ruthless and cowardly King, Joffrey (Jack Gleeson). Margaery has also befriended the lonely Sansa Stark (Sophia Turner) and becomes a big sister figure to the girl. The beautiful Natalie will be almost unrecognizable when she takes on the character of Cressida.
Cressida is a filmmaker that joins up with Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) the reluctant face of rebellion. Cressida is from the capitol and there they are known for their outrageous sense of fashion. To play Cressida Dormer will have to lose her golden locks and sport a baldhead. Not to mention cover herself in numerous tattoos. According the character bio "Cressida was first by Katniss's side in "Mockingjay" when she ventured to District 8 and lead her camera crew through the chaos of an unexpected bombing of the Capitol. They followed Katniss to the roof of a building where she, Gale and Paylor helped shoot down the Capitol's bombing hovercrafts."
Natalie Dormer's star is on the rise. In her first film "Casanova" she showed off her comedic abilities when she starred along side Heath ledger. She appeared in the superhero movie "Captain America" and also had a guest spot on the CBS drama "Elementary." Fans of Natalie Dormer no doubt still think of her as the beautiful and ill-fated Queen Anne Boleyn of "The Tudors." Dormer brilliantly portrayed the most famous of Henry VIII's six wives in the Showtime series. Anne Boleyn was brought to life by Dormer in "The Tudors," which also stared the "Man of Steel" Henry Cavil.

Dormer's performance of Anne Boleyn made the queen a household name in the US. Natalie dormer will return to "Game of Thrones" when the series comes back for its' fourth season in 2014.
