Have you ever wondered what it would be like if the giants from the "Attack on Titan" anime were real? If you live in New York, then your city is next to have the "Escape from the Walled City" experience in real life!
"Escape from the Walled City" is a brand new "real escape game" created by a Kyoto-based company called SCRAP. Scrap will be hosting a live action escape game event at Staten Island's Richmond County Bank Ballpark. Essentially, participants will be welcomed into the sports arena only to take on the difficult task of escaping from the ball park within one hour. However, if you fail, then you will be killed by a Titan.
Earlier this month, the "Escape from the Walled City" tour arrived to San Francisco, attracting approximately 5000 players to attend San Francisco's AT&T Park. Now, ticket sales for New York's "Escape from the Walled City" will begin on Thursday, February 19, 2015. The event at the Staten Island Richmond County Bank Ballpark will be held on April 11, 2015.
According to the official site, there will be three scheduled "Escape from the Walled City" events on April 11th: 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. Each event will be an hour and a half long. Doors will open one hour ahead of the scheduled times. Be sure to visit the official "Escape from the Walled City" escape game website here. Ticket sales begin TOMORROW!
