News of the axing of Bárbara Bermudo from Univision and "Primer Impacto" took everyone by surprise. The outpour of support for the 41-year-old presenter following the report has made her husband react on social media.

“Thank you all for the great show of support to my wife that make me feel very proud of her and her extraordinary talent that nobody will be able to cloud,” he wrote on Instagram. “Very soon the truth will come to the light and the enemy will be unmasked. For now, thank you with all my heart. #GodIsGoodAllTheTime.” See the photo attached to the caption down below and tell us what you think!

Bermudo’s separation from the show broke when People En Español published a piece where an executive at the Spanish-language network confirmed the ousting.

“Bárbara Bermudo’s contract was not renewed and she will leave her co-hosting role of ‘Primer Impacto,’” a Univision said. “We appreciate Bárbara’s input and we wish her the best.”

Bermudo had a long history with the hard news program. She came in when original presenter María Celeste left to Telemundo to start “Al Rojo Vivo.” Bárbara co-hosted with Myrka Dellanos, the other founding host, for a couple of years before she left to pursue other projects as well. Through the years she had several co-hosts, with Pamela Silva Conde her most recent one.

Just a day ago the journalist hinted at a big change in her life when she posted a cryptic photo and message on Instagram.

“Ready to dominate and only add good things”, she captioned the pic of a calculator and a notebook with the words “plans for world domination. She also added hashtangs like “determination,” “new goals” and “mega project.”
