Veracruz native, Ana De La Reguera, has been making her way into Hollywood since her performance as “Sister Encarnación” in “Nacho Libre,” movie in which she shared the screen with comedian and singer Jack Black. The Mexican actress is best known for her starring role in “Capadocia,” an HBO Latino production about an all-female prison in Mexico City packed with drugs, prostitution, and corruption. The show was a huge success in Mexico and gave Ana the viewer’s recognition.

Since then, she decided to keep pursuing her ideal of becoming the next Latino female actress in the country leading her to guest-star in shows like: “Eastbound & Down and “Anger Management.” Her next opportunity comes with NBC’s hit show “The Blacklist,” where De La Reguera will be playing “Vanessa Cruz,” a provocative female Blacklister tracked by the task force who reveals that she is a frame-up artist who is targeting the wealthy elite. Make sure to tune in on the episode featuring the “sexy Veracruzana” which airs this Thursday April 2, 2015 on NBC.
