Ever since news broke of Brangelina’s divorce, many people have been wondering what are Jennifer Aniston’s thoughts. While Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are currently going through a brutal custody battle over their children, Aniston has been quiet. If you were hoping to hear from the actress, you probably won’t but her husband Justin Theroux spoke his peace about the couple’s split.
According to Business Insider, Theroux is actually feeling very sympathetic towards the broken couple. The actor admitted that he could relate to what is going in right now between the couple, which is very unfortunate.
“As a child of divorce all I can say is that’s terrible news for those children and that’s all you can really say,” he tells Business Insider.
Theroux spoke about the issue on Monday during press tours for an upcoming movie. Most people are surprised because the topic is very sensitive and with his wife’s ties to the couple it would make sense to remain silent. Being a true gentleman, Theroux kept his response short and sweet.
The actor was asked about Jennifer’s thought’s on her ex’s breakup and he added, “ It’s boring to sort of comment on anything else. People are having a bad time, that’s horrible,” he tells the site.
While everyone thought that Aniston would have spoken out, her actions have shown that her and Theroux have taken the high road. It would be very easy to comment on your ex that cheated on you with his soon to be divorced wife, but when you’re truly happy you focus on your own happiness. As much as it is a tragedy, as the saying goes, “How people treat you is their karma, how you react is yours.”
