They finally did it! After years of speculation, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are a married couple! According to AP, Pitt, 50, and Jolie, 39 were wed on Saturday, August 23 in Chateau Miraval in Correns, France. It all started back in 2005, when the two co-starred “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” and sparks just flew between them, eventually ending Brad’s marriage to Jennifer Aniston, and consolidating one of Hollywood’s most powerful couples. Brangelina, as they were dubbed, made headlines again when the couple began expanding their family, both through adoption and naturally.

They ended up raising a multicultural family of six children, Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and 6-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. After seven years of dating, Brad finally popped the question in 2012 and although both of them had been open about their desire to marry each other, their conflicting schedules, Angelina’s health scare last year, and other compromises kept them from settling a date. Now, in true Hollywood fashion, the couple pulled a Kerry Washington and managed to keep such an important event secret. But we’ve found out 4 things to know about the Brangelina wedding.

1) The Jolie-Pitts had been spotted arriving in France on Friday and were believed to be heading to their Chateau Miraval, the couple’s French estate, where they first settled in 2008.

2) According to People, the wine-growing estate has a 35-room main house, an ancient chapel and working vineyard spread over 1,100 acres. (Continues after photo)

3) Brangelina had gotten a marriage license in California, and the same judge who issued it traveled with them and married them in the Chateau’s chapel, in front of family and friends, in a nondenominational civil ceremony.

4) The couple’s kids took part in the wedding, Angelina walked down the aisle with her boys, Maddox and Pax. Zahara and Vivienne were the flower girls, and Shiloh and Knox were the ring bearers. Talk about cuteness overload!

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Pitt!
