As we cope with the death of Brian Griffin from "Family Guy" we keep asking ourselves, why him? Why couldn't it have been one of many creepy characters that appear on the show or other Griffin family members that never have interesting storylines. In case you missed it, in a major game-changer, the long-running animated FOX series killed off the talking dog in the episode titled "Life of Brian." Brian was an integral part of the show and is now being replaced by a "pooch with attitude" named Vinnie. The new character is voiced by Tony Sirico, best known for starring in "The Sopranos." The pet is replacing Brian who died being run over by a car. Stewie was obviously devastated by what seemed unimaginable. With his time machine broken, the Griffin family could not go back and change the course of events that lead to the death of Brian, a character voiced by creator Seth MacFarlane. Peter Griffin: We know he is the main character on this show, but would we really be sad if he died? He is so annoying and is voiced by Seth MacFarlane. If it's true that Seth wants to kill his own show to have more time to work on other projects, this would have been the perfect character to kill. As the main voice of the show he would have so much more free time and we could've seen more Stewie and Brian scenes because they made a great team. Chris Griffin: What does he really do on the show? Screams and cries? Chris is an emotional mess and kind of pointless. In the 12-season history of the show we can probably still count with our hands the episodes centered on this character. Maybe the writers on the show could have made his death finally mean something for this character. RELATED: Best Brian Griffin Quotes: Plus Watch Top 10 Moments From Beloved 'Family Guy' Dog

Meg Griffin: We love Meg, but how many times have they tortured the poor girl? Her death would not be davastating to the family as they never really care for her. None of the Griffin family ever takes her seriously and even her mother Lois is mean to her, trying to sleep with her boyfriends. As it is, Meg is always shortchanged with storylines and can go for scenes being drawn in, but with no actual dialogue. Could this be because Mila Kunis is too busy pursuing other gigs and not having enough time to dedicate to "Family Guy"? Quagmire: The creep neighbor needs to get the ax, especially because he never liked Brian. We know he is probably enjoying that the Griffin dog is now deceased. Cleveland Brown: With a failed spin-off series, Cleveland is set to return to the animated series. Wouldn't it have been great if he came back to Quahog only to be killed off just like his series? The show did well without him and we didn't miss him at all. His death would have been sad and touching, but not to the point of us wanting to stop watching the show.
