Colin Kaepernick, San Francisco 49ers quarterback is being investigated by Miami police about an incident involving a woman at a hotel earlier this month. Rene Pimentel, Miami Police Department public information officer said, “There are no charges, definitely not. There is an investigation.” Allegedly, the incident took place at the Viceroy hotel in downtown Miami. Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Ricardo Lockette and Quinton Patton, a 49ers receiver are listed as “persons involved” along with Kaepernick.

The alleged victim went to Lockette’s apartment at the Viceroy where Patton and Kaepernick were watching a basketball game. She told the police she knew Kaepernick and they had had a sexual relationship. She also said she mixed drinks and gave them shots. The men involved instructed her to go "hit" the bong which contained marijuana. She started feeling light headed so went to the bedroom to lie down.

According to the report, "Mr. Kaepernick came behind her into the bedroom and started kissing her. Mr. Kaepernick started to undress her. She got completely naked. Mr. Kaepernick told her that he was going to be right back and left the bedroom. They did not have sex."

The alleged victim said, "What are you doing? Where is Colin? Get out." Patton and Lockette looked in the room where the victim was and she told that to them. She told police she doesn’t have memory of what happened after that. She woke up on a hospital bed unaware of how she got there.

San Francisco 49ers general manager Trent Baalke said in a statement, “The 49ers organization is aware of the recent media report regarding Colin Kaepernick and is in the process of gathering the pertinent facts.
