Cristiano Ronaldo posted his official New Year’s wish video and he sang to his fans to celebrate the upcoming year.

Through a video on his Instagram, the professional soccer star, who plays for Spanish club Real Madrid and the Portugal national team, appears singing in front of a mirror “I wish you a Merry Christmas, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.” He then whishes a happy holiday in Portuguese.

Recently, Cristiano’s agent Jorge Mendes revealed the Real Madrid superstar is the subject of a world record transfer offer from an unnamed Chinese club.

According to Newsweek.com “Speaking to Sky Italia, Mendes divulged details of what he says is a £260 million ($319.6 million) offer that would also net Ronaldo £85 million ($104.5 million) per year in wages.”

Actually, we don’t have to wish the player much, because starting the year with this millionaire offer is not a bad thing.

Ronaldo, 31, has collected a host of individual and team honors in 2016, including the Ballon d’Or for "World’s Best Player," the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Euro 2016 with Portugal, his first major international trophy. He signed a new contract with Real Madrid in November through June 2021.
