Rumors surfaced on Saturday as legendary soccer player David Beckham was spotted with a large bandage on his lower back in Paris.
Beckham is as famous for his soccer skills as his stunning looks, so the bandage caught the fans' eyes at the end of the game of his team Paris St.-Germain against fellow-French team AS Nancy, who began pondering if the star had made a new trip to the tattoo parlor.
Judge yourself, and check out these photos.
Beckham's spokesperson denied he had any new tattoos recently.
The fans have reason to jump to conclusions, though. The British soccer player has 17 tattoos, many of them dedicated to his wife, Victoria and four children, including their names and images. The last time he was officially inked was in late 2011, when Victoria tweeted a picture of her husband with the brand new "Love" word tattooed over his hand, with baby Harper Seven, their youngest, gripping one of his fingers.
Beckham's love of ink has rubbed off on his children, with the soccer player saying in a recent interview that one of them asked him how old he had to be before getting his first tattoo. Beckham reportedly answered, "a lot older than you are now."
The Beckham family is getting used to living in the French capita. While David is busy with the team, wife Victoria takes advantage of the prime opportunities for retail therapy Paris offers. Victoria was seen hitting the stores before joining her children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, as well as David's parents, to go see the game.
