Long time BFFs Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato have joined forces to create their very own record label, along with manager/music executive Phil McIntyre. The three also teamed up with Island Records to form the new label, Safehouse Records, which they say will be an “artist-centric label.” In a statement released by Lovato she said she plans to create more music with label and cant wait to be part of a project in which she’ll have “control of all aspects of my career.” “I’ve worked closely with both Nick and Phil for years and we share the same point of view when it comes to making music,” Lovato continued. “It’s incredibly exciting to be part of this new company… I can’t wait to share what we’re working on!”

Jonas and Philey also released a joint statement; “Our focus at Safehouse Records is to put artists in control of their art while providing them the best tools to manage their careers. Through our partnership with Island Records they will also have access to the best marketing and promotion available.” This is incredibly exciting for both stars. Lovato's 5th album will be a creative partnership between the new label, Island and her current label, Hollywood Records.

We’ll be able to listen to Jonas, who recently joined Christina Aguilera, Zendaya, Ellie Goulding, Jennifer Lopez, Jon Bon Jovi, John Legend and Matthew Morrison in “Finding Neverland: The Album” interpreting the song “Believe,” which comes out on June 9.
