The Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs will renew their all-time great rivalry on Sunday night in a must watch game. These two games have a long history of close battles with one another, and they have a combined record of 14-6 this season.

Denver Broncos (7-3)

The defending Super Bowl champions have won three of their last four games, and they’ve got a huge match this week against their arch rivals. The Broncos know that every game is extremely important because the AFC West is one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL.

Defense continues to be the key in Denver as the Broncos defensive unit ranks fourth overall in yards allowed. Thanks to Von Miller the Broncos have one of the best pass rushes in the league, and they know they have to rush Alex Smith if they’re going to win.

If Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas can get open and make plays down field, that should open the Broncos rushing attack. Trevor Siemian isn’t the greatest down-field thrower, but he’s proven that he can fit in this system.

The Broncos play the Jacksonville Jaguars next week.

Kansas City Chiefs (7-3)

The Chiefs had an extremely disappointing game last week losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Chiefs are still 7-3, but Andy Reid’s squad lost ground to the division leading Oakland Raiders.

The Chiefs have still won five of their last six games, and they haven’t lost a single divisional game so far. This would be huge to go into Denver and get a win against the Broncos.

Running the ball has been a growing concern for this team. The Chiefs have not hit the 100-yard rushing mark since Week 7, against the New Orleans Saints. Spencer Ware is going to get tested this coming Sunday night as will the Chefs offensive line.

The Chiefs play the Atlanta Falcons next week.

Schedule

The Broncos and Chiefs will play each other on Sunday night at 8:30 ET on NBC. You can watch a live game stream here.

Prediction

Both teams need this game very much, but home-field advantage will propel the Broncos to a victory. The Chiefs have been known to struggle against the Broncos, and their defensive has been struggling lately.

Broncos win 20-17
