Dulce Maria And Julion Alvarez Film 'Lagrimas' Music Video [PHOTOS]

Dulce María is taking her music career back after her debut album, "Extranjera." The former RBD band member has recorded a duet with Julión Álvarez titled "Lágrimas." The new track mixes Dulce's pop roots and Alvarez's regional music style taking a cue from crossing over music genre's like fellow Maite Perroni with "Tú y Yo." Now the duo are filming a music video to further promote the hot new single. Dulce recently tweeted, "In L.A. for dress rehearsal for my video Lagrimas that I will film tomorrow! I will keep you guys informed with all the details."

The red-haired beauty bedazzeled with a sequin peplum top and a knee-high leather skirt. Her partner wore a black suit with his signature hat. Both performed their song on-stage in front of a live band that will take part in the clip. This new direction that Maria takes her career will be benefitial as it will show her range as a musical artist. Previously, Dulce María has collaborated with Akon in a Spanish remake of "Beautiful" and Chino y Nacho on "Navidad Navidad."

While away from music, the "Inevitable" hitmaker returned to television in a special guest starring role in the telenovela "Mentir Para Vivir." In this role she will play the daughter of one of the villains from the soap and will also make a priest have second thoughts of his profession. Dulce had previously auditioned for a role on "Amores Verdaderos" that ultimately went to Sherlyn.
