Dying Light
A Dying Light free DLC update will deliver a new Hard Mode as well as new outfits for the playable character. Techlands

"Dying Light" is rapidly becoming one of the most popular online multiplayer games available on the new generation of gaming consoles. Thanks to an endless amount of challenging tasks from the GRE, the tower, and Rais, as well as numerous side quests, the latest zombie survival game pushes the bounderies on what it means to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. However, just months after its release, "Dying Light" fans are already asking for more!

Developer Techland has responded to the requests and have been working hard to deliver additional content for players. First, a new "Dying Light" Cuisine and Cargo DLC is now available for $20. The DLC will offer even more side quests and challenges that will allow the players to explore the map even more. Specifically, "Cuisine and Cargo" will ask players to investigate abandoned buildings that were shut down ever since the outbreak started. These landmarks include what was once a popular restaurant and what was once a busy railroad yard.

As for "Dying Light" PC gamers, Techland has added a new patch that will allow mods to the game. In early February, developer Techland released a "Be The Zombie" update that was intended to minimize cheating in the game. However, this also limited mod-makers from creating fresh content for "Dying Light." That said, Techland has extremely responsive to gamer feedback and issued a statement and a fix to the PC gamers:

“Creating obstacles for modders has never been our intention. We are now working on a quick patch that will re-enable common tweaks while stopping cheating in the game’s multiplayer mode. At Techland, we have always supported the mod community, and loved seeing how our own game can be changed by the players. A big part of the original Dead Island’s success was the passion and creativity of mod-makers from our community. We want the same for Dying Light.”

Finally, Techlands has also announced a new free DLC update. In a tweet, Techlands announced that a harder difficulty option will now be available for "Dying Light." What's more, new outfits will also be available for the character absolutely free. Stay tuned as we learn more about "Dying Light" updates in the future.
