Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzmán is known for his ordeals in the drug business, but he does have a family and lived somewhat of a normal life. He married Alejandrina Maria Salazar in a small ceremony in 1977. He has three children with her and they are Cesar, Ivan Archivaldo and Jesus Alfredo. He later remarried Griselda Lopez Perez, he had four more children named Edgar, Joaquin, Ovidio and Griselda Guadalupe. He then later married again, in 2007, this time 18-year old beauty queen Emma Coronel Aispuro. She was a U.S. citizen and gave birth to twin girls in Los Angeles. His sons followed in his footsteps of the drug business.

He was born in the rancho of La Tuna to a poor family. He has two sisters and for brothers, Armida , Bernarda, Miguel Angel, Aureliano, Arturo and Emilio. His father was a cattle rancher. His father had connections in the business, through Pedro Aviles Perez who was a key player in Sinaloa. Apparently he can’t live without a woman by his side. It said that he puts himself in danger to pursue women, and the chase is the most important thing for him. There are reports that he has never been faithful to his wives.

A woman named Zulema fell in love with him while he was in prison. She became pregnant but had a miscarriage. She was later killed. He has many women to worry about but you would think that the birth of his twin girls would change him. He is 56 and has had turmoil and no luck when it comes to his love life. He has his staff pick up prostitutes on his behalf and they are taken wherever "El Chapo" says. He is known to lure these women with gifts, diamonds and parties, if that strategy doesn’t work he uses violence and manipulation to always get his way.
