Eva Longoria Clothing Line: Actress To Launch New Fashion Brand

Move over Thalia, Ricky Martin, Eva Mendes, Sofia Vergara and Jennifer Lopez, because Eva Longoria is the new fashion designer in town!

Following her first-ever home collection with JCPenney, which she launched in April, the Mexican-American actress has announced her new venture to be a clothing line.

"I've been wanting to design my own collection for a very long time now and it's a true privilege to be associated with Sunrise Brands, because they have a lot of experience in fashion," she expressed in a statement, reports TV y Novelas.

The 40-year-old actress, producer, philanthropist, activist, businesswoman and now designer, says her new line ---offering elegant dresses, active wear, purses and shows--- will cater to all women.

"I'm very excited of designing a collection for women that will offer versatility and project confidence, comfort and glamour," she said. "I finally have the time to dedicate myself to this, before I was very busy," she added.

Longoria's clothing line is expected to launch in the fall of 2016.
