One of the most important things you can do in order to win your Fantasy Football league is stay on top of your waiver wire. Finding that gem player that no one else knows about can make the difference each and every week.

Here are five players you should consider signing for Week 8.

1. Jacquizz Rodgers

Everyone wants to grab Jay Ajayi off waivers, but the Miami Dolphins have a bye week. Possibly the best waiver wire option among running backs is Jacquizz Rodgers. Rodgers has hit the 100-yard rushing mark in each of the last two weeks, and he gets to play the Oakland Raiders next week. The Raiders run defense ranks 29th overall in the NFL making this a very favorable matchup.

2. James White

We all know the New England Patriots love to use their running backs as receivers. Surprisingly, White has more catches and receiving yards than Danny Amendola, and he ranks second on the team in touchdown grabs. Tom Brady knows he can trust White with underneath throws when Robert Gronkowski and others are covered downfield. The Patriots will look to get revenge against the Buffalo Bills and Rex Ryan on Sunday.

3. Cordarrelle Patterson

Talk about a steal. That’s if you really, really need wide receiver help. Cordarrelle Patterson is only owned by about two percent of Fantasy Football owners. With two consecutive weeks with a touchdown grab and three straight productive games, Patterson is slowly making a name for himself in this Minnesota Vikings offense. He should be able to make some noise against the Chicago Bears defense next week.

4. Brandon LaFell

Brandon LaFell had a pretty disappointing year for Fantasy Football owners last year. Now with the Cincinnati Bengals, LaFell is looking to double last year’s production. He had an excellent performance in Week 7 with 83 receiving yards against the Cleveland Browns. LaFell, who had zero touchdown catches all of last season, already has four this season. To make things even better, he plays the Washington Redskins next week who may not have Josh Norman.

5. Cole Beasley

It’s amazing that Cole Beasley is still owned by so few people out there. Beasley is on pace to increase his touchdown production and yards for the sixth consecutive season. Every year he just seems to play better than the previous one. More importantly, Dak Prescott trusts him. Prescott and Beasley have a special connection right now, and that’s critical because Dez Bryant’s return is still up in the air.
