Luis Vázquez’s video has been shared thousands of times on Facebook, Twitter and other social media outlets. With 1,536,690 views on YouTube, Luis and his son are touching the hearts of every person who takes the time to click play, and experience the journey of a proud father making his autistic kid’s dream come true: Going to see his favorite band, Coldplay, in concert.

“Something my wife and I decided to share with the whole wide world,” wrote Vázquez on his personal account. “You have to watch it! It says it all! You guys #coldplay please need to see this!”

The clip takes us through the kid’s journey, from the moment he arrives to the venue to the emotional moment in which he finds himself listening to one of his favorite songs, “Fix You,” being played live by the British band.

Watching the little fellow being able to stand in the middle of the Foro Sol, one of the biggest concert venues in the city, and having the time of his life next to his parents has brought tears to the eyes of many, who have expressed their joy and sympathy online.

“Luis, this is truly touching. I got teary eyes from watching your reaction and your kid’s reaction,” wrote YouTube user Julieta Zelaya. “I have two kids that are the same age, one of them suffers from specific language impairment and he is the one that enjoys music the most. It made me think of him right away. Big hugs.”

The video made its way to Chris Martin and the rest of the band who proudly shared the video on their page and announced, “This kind of thing makes it all worthwhile. Hola Luis y tu hijo hermoso! Love”

After noticing the footage’s success, Luis sent a thank you message to everyone who has been sharing the video and said, “Thanks to all of you! #vivacoldplay #todossomoshuillo Lets keep looking for sharing this kind of things that make us understand there is still a chance for having a better place for them! #autismspeak.”
