The cast of AMC's "The Walkind Dead" spinoff series is really coming along. According to Den of Geek, "Orange is the New Black" actress Elizabeth Rodriguez has joined "Fear the Walking Dead" as a series regular. While she will be a regular face on the original series we are not expected to see Rodriguez until episode two Entertainment Weekly reports.

"The Walking Dead" spinoff series already has a two-season commitment from AMC, and also stars Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens and Frank Dillane. The show will follow a different set of characters than those in the original and will be set in Los Angeles. Creator Robert Kirkman confirmed the story will start earlier than the original series — before the walker outbreak begins and will eventually catch up to Rick and the gang's storyline. He also confirmed that this is not entirely a full prequel to "The Walking Dead" franchise.

The first season will consist of six episodes, matching the first season of "The Walking Dead" and will arrive sometime this summer as Deadline reports.

Meanwhile, during "The Walking Dead" season five finale, the first trailer for "Fear the Walking Dead" aired, which you can check out below.
