Fiesta De La Flor 2017: Selena Quintanilla Wax Figure From Madame Tussauds To Be At Festival

The two-day "Fiesta de la Flor" festival that celebrates the life and legacy of Selena Quintanilla, will be held in North Bayfront Park in downtown Corpus Christi, Texas; from Friday March 24, to Saturday March 25, 2017.

For the very first time the "Queen of Tejano" Madame Tussauds Wax Figure will be present at the festival. Guest appearances by Jackie Cruz of the Netflix hit show "Orange is the New Black" and Emmy Award-winner Jackie Guerra, who played Suzette in the "Selena" movie, will be also part of the show. Music headliners like Grammy Award-winning AB Quintanilla y Elektro Kumbia and La Mafia will be also attending.

In a press conference live-streamed on Facebook, Suzette Quintanilla confirmed to the audience the presence of the statue, valued at approximately $350,000, and dressed in a recreated stage look from Selena’s concert held at the Memorial Coliseum in Corpus Christi, TX on Feb 7, 1993.
