Season 4 of “Game of Thrones” continues this Sunday with episode 3, “Breaker of Chains.” The episode will be focusing on the aftermath of King Joffrey Baratheon’s death at the now infamous Purple Wedding, as the world of Westeros reacts to the news and speculates who was behind the death, one person in particular is dying to know. Tyrion Lannister was immediately detained following the death of Joffrey, due to Cersei’s calls for his arrest. Now the promo video reveals that the youngest Lannister is being held in the black cells, charged with the death of the King, but he admits that despite the charge, he is innocent. The clever imp is attempting to figure out who was behind the poisoning of the king, because he states, “Whoever killed the King, wanted me to lose my head for it.”

While the Lannisters may be falling apart, the Tyrells grasp on power may be increasing, however Margaery isn’t convinced. In the promo video for “Breaker of Chains” Olenna Tyrell, the matriarch of the Tyrell family informs her granddaughter that her circumstances have "improved remarkably." Margaery counters that if not for Joffrey’s poisoning and subsequent death, she would have been the Queen of Westeros.

The Tyrells are not the only powerful women making new plans. Daenerys, who is known as the “Breaker of Chains” due to her quest to free slaves in Essos, will be looking to conquer the final slave city, Meereen. The young queen is seen in the promo video makes a declaration against the people of Meereen before firing at their impressive walls. But the main question is will Daenerys and her dragons take the city?

Yes, and she will do so with one champion. Daenerys will discover Jorah Mormont’s betrayal from way back in Season 1, when the now loya knight would provide Varys and thus King Robert Baratheon with information regarding the last Targaryen. After discovering the betrayal, Daenerys will be devastated, but torn due to her trust in the reformed Jorah. During the impending siege of Meereen, Daenerys decides to send Jorah on a covert suicide mission through the sewers; half hoping that he will die in the attempt. The mission succeeds and Jorah wins the city of Meereen for Dany with minimal blood.

Another war will begin in “Breaker of Chains,” this time at the Wall, and will Dany is attempting to seize Meereen; Jon Snow is trying to keep the Wildlings from taking Castle Black. The episode 3 synopsis states that Jon Snow will “make a speech at the Wall,” but it is more of a war cry. He admits to his brothers of the Night’s Watch that Mance Rayder and the Wildlings have all they need to take Castle Black and break the men of the Night’s Watch.
