HBO has revealed three new clips of the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones." WatchersOnTheWall/YouTube

It’s no secret that the wait for HBO’s “Game of Thrones” season 6 has been excruciating; so much could’ve happened to us by now! But we have to admit that as the season premiere (on April 24) gets closer, HBO has been better at helping us hold over with cryptic teasers, clips and very revealing trailers.

Now, the network has released three new clips giving us a glimpse into some of our favorite characters’ present and future. The first one shows Sansa and Theon escape through a snowy forest (meaning they survived what we thought had been a fatal fall from the castle). In the second one, we see Cersei and Jaime talking about their dead mother’s body and grieving their daughter at the Red Keep; and the third one shows Daenerys Targaryen arrives at Vaes Dothrak, her apparent new home.

As for the trailer, it seems to be a concentration of spoilers, so we have to admit we’ve been watching it on repeat, just so we don’t miss a thing; Davos and Ghost stand over Jon Snow's body; Jamie's confrontation with the High Sparrow. “You would spill blood in this holy place?" “The gods won't mind.” Dragons flying over their mother, Daenerys and spitting fire at Tyrion Lannister. What will become of them?

Prior to these lengthy clips (compared to others), the network released another three snippets through the series’ Twitter account where fans could tweet with the hashtags #HouseStark, #HouseLannister or #HouseTargaryen and received a video in return. While the clips didn’t feature glimpses of the show fans were able to hear voices from characters like the High Sparrow and Ramsay Bolton.

The fan community also chipped in to make the wait a little less painful with Trump-GoT mashups, where he ruthlessly and horribly ruled Westeros and there was even a Mariachi band that played the theme song wonderfully.
