Over the weekend, George Lucas married his his longtime girlfriend Mellody Hobson. George Lucas, who is most famously known for his work on the "Star Wars" franchise, married the 44-year-old at Skywalker Ranch in the San Francisco area on Saturday.
Journalist Billy Moyers officiated the ceremony, according to Lucasfilm spokeswoman Lynne Hale, and former New Jersey Sen. Bill Bradley walked Mellody Hobson down the aisle. Van Morrison and Janelle Monai reportedly performed at the reception, Steven Spielberg gave a toast and Francis Ford Coppola read a poem. Other guests included Samuel L. Jackson, ARianna Huffington and Ron Howard.
This marks the second marriage for George Lucas, who was married to film editor Marcia Lucas from 1969 to 1983. George Lucas and Mellody Hobson have been dating since 2006.
