Geraldine Bazán has been pressed to get her side of the story of her divorce from Gabriel Soto. Up until this point, it's been the latter that has talked about his situation publicly and Bazán has kept low key. Now, the actress shared a video that she posted on YouTube to talk directly with all her fans about the split from her husband. The situation is something that is apparently still hurting her deeply as she breaks into tears many times throughout the video.

"I want to share with all of you this complicated situation in my life," she said. "I simply want to thank everyone who has been concerned, all the kindness, thank my mother, my brother, my whole family, all those friends that have been close, all my followers, and all the press that have asked how I've been. Really grateful for your concern and your well wishes.

In relation to her split from the telenovela heartthrob she said: "How do I feel? Well I think as anyone person, man or woman, that is going through a process like this, a divorce process is difficult in many aspects. Of course it's complicated, it's hard, it's sad, especially when you bet everything for a family, for a relationship and you do everything for love and in the end, things don't work out. I am not the only woman that has gone or will go through this in the world or in Mexico."

Geraldine Bazán started tearing up and said: "These tears are of happiness but they are also tears of strength. I want to share that it's a difficult time, but I am strong, I am brave and I know I will get through, that it will be a difficult process and I will come out with victory and more strength than before because that's how I am. Many women have lived through this situation and life goes on, life continues and more experiences will come."

The "El Despacho" actress finished off by saying that it's her daughters that give her the strength to move forward. "I have the biggest strength that anyone can have as a woman, two very important reasons that are my daughters, to fight even more because all mothers and all women know that as mothers we can become lionesses to take care of and protect our children and that's what I need to share with all of you. I will be strong for my daughters and for myself as well," she said. Watch the entire video below and tell us what you think!

Last week, Gabriel Soto took to Twitter to confirm the separation from his wife Geraldine Bazán. "Four months ago I started the separation process of the relationship I held for many years with my wife and the mother of my daughters, Geraldine Bazán," the presser says. "Even though we tried, a while ago, our relationship started fracturing."

"This decision has nothing to do with a third party, but it is precise to clear up that the consequences that were caused after I was involved in a story that I have rectified on all the occasions that I had the opportunity and I repeat again: I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT," he continued. "This process has been hard and difficult on both sides, I expect to go through it with respect, discretion, care and love to preserve the well-being and the harmony of our daughters that are our priority. All the situations in the life of a couple are absolutely between two people. This is why I ask and I thank all the press and people in advance, your profound comprehension and RESPECT for this situation."
