Gia Allemand is reportedly dead after being hospitalized in New Orleans on Monday. The 29-year-old is most famous for appearing on ABC's hit dating show, "The Bachelor."

The 29-year-old was reportedly hospitalized in critical condition at University Hospital after "a serious emergency medical event" according to what her publicist told the Associated Press. The circumstances surrounding the medical event have yet to be released, but E! reported that the reality star and model was on life support.

Celebrity gossip website TMZ confirmed the news of Allemand's death with a family member and People magazine confirmed via a hospital source. Her family and her boyfriend, New Orleans Pelicans basketball player Ryan Anderson, were by her side when she was at the hosptial.
