Girl With Three Boobs: Why Did Jasmin Tridevil, 21, Undergo Radical $20,000 Surgery?

Upon hearing about this story, we immediately assumed it was an elaborate hoax crafted by a diehard fan of "Total Recall." We were wrong, and 21-year-old Jasmine Tridevil is a real person, even though Tridevil is obviously not her real name.

Jasmine Tridevil claimed that she paid $20,000 for a procedure that surgically attached a third breast to her chest. However, it was difficult to find a doctor willing to perform the procedure at all. More than 50 surgeons turned her away to avoid violating any possible ethical codes.

"The principal objective of the medical profession is to render services to humanity with full respect for human dignity," outlined the American Board of Plastic Surgeons. No doubt, a procedure for a three-breasted woman is as controversial as it gets.

The surgeons were not the only ones that did not approve the operation-- Jasmine Tridevil's family kicked her out of the house as well. In fact, Jasmine's sister ran out of the room in disgust when the family learned what she had done

"My mum ran out of the door. She won't talk to me. She won't let my sister talk to me," Jasmine Tridevil said. "My dad… he really isn't happy. He is kind of ashamed of me but he accepted it."

By now, many readers must be wondering what caused Jasmine Tridevil to want this radical procedure done. Her explanation is not what you would expect:

"I got it because I wanted to make myself unattractive to men," she claims. "Because I don't want to date anymore."

We're sure there are less extreme, and less expensive, methods of turning men away. In fact, the explosive news coverage only demonstrates that her bizarre operation backfired in a big way. However, Jasmine Tridevil claims she has no regrets with the procedure whatsoever.

Now, Jasmine Tridevil reveals her next big plan: a self-produced reality show on MTV called "Jasmine's Jugs."

"My whole dream is to get this show on MTV," Tridevil told Real Radio 104.1. "I'm dumping every penny I have into this. If this doesn't work, I'm through."
