Have you ever heard about three-course appetizers? - Well to be honest we just came up with that idea, but it’s totally possible!

We want to share with you three recipes using RITZ crackers that can be not only satisfying, but also simulate an entrée, main course and dessert.

If you're throwing a Golden Globes watching party or just want to feel fancy while watching the award show, you can enjoy a Chile Relleno Topper as an appetizer, then add something a little bit more satisfactory with a Pulled Pork- Sofrito RITZwich (a sandwich made of saltine crackers), and finally, you can finish off by serving a delightful Sweet and Salty Dulce de Leche Topper as a dessert.

Follow up the instructions and enjoy with your love ones the comforting experience of eating.

INGREDIENTS

1 Tbsp. oil
1/2 cup sofrito tomato sauce
1-1/2 cups fully cooked pulled pork
2 pepper Jack cheese slices, each cut into 8 pieces
32 RITZ Crackers

DIRECTIONS

Heat oven to 350 ° F.

Heat oil in medium skillet on medium heat. Stir in sofrito sauce; cook 2 min., stirring frequently. Add meat; cook and stir 2 min. or until heated through.

Place 16 crackers in single layer on baking sheet; top with cheese.

Bake 3 min. or until cheese is melted.

Top with meat mixture and remaining crackers to make 16 sandwiches.

  • Make Ahead: The meat mixture can be cooked ahead of time. Cool, then refrigerate up to 24 hours. When ready to serve, microwave on HIGH 1 to 2 min. or until heated through, then use to top crackers with remaining ingredients as directed.
  • Where to Find Sofrito Tomato Sauce: Sofrito tomato sauce can be found in your supermarket's freezer case. Thaw before using for this tasty topper. If you can't find the frozen variety, use the jarred sauce which can be found where the salsa or other Hispanic foods are found.
  • Fully Cooked Pulled Pork: Be sure to use a pulled pork that is cooked without barbecue sauce, so that the flavor of the sofrito sauce comes through.
