It was a big night for the movie "La La Land" at the Golden Globes 2017 as it swept the awards show. Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling both won for their work on the film, as well as Damien Chazelle for directing, screenplay and motion picture.

Our Latinos were not so lucky this year with Gina Rodriguez losing out to Tracee Ellis Ross in the Best Performance By An Actress In a Television Series, Musical or Comedy and Gael García Bernal losing to Donald Glover for his work on "Atlanta" in the male category.

Other winners included Casey Affleck for "Manchester By The Sea," Isabelle Huppert for "Elle," Aaron Taylor-Johnson for "Nocturnal Animals" and Viola Davis for "Fences."
