Season five of "The Good Wife" premiers on CBS Sunday September 29 at 9pm. The show stars Juliana Marguiles as Alicia Florrick a woman whose husband Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) goes to jail after a very public sex and corruption scandal. With her husband the former state attorney in jail, Alicia returns to her former job as a litigator in order to provide for her children. "The Good Wife" is full of intense drama, scandal, politics and sex. Season five looks to be staring out with all of the drama that made the show so popular.

Recently CBS released a teaser clip for season five of "The Good Wife." In the trailer Alicia is telling Eli Gold (Alan Cumming) and Peter that she is living and starting a new firm. At the end of last season Alicia agreed to start a new firm with Cary Afos (Matt Czuchry) but the pair wanted to keep it a secret from their bosses. The cat may be out of the bag now that Peter and Eli know Alicia wants to leave.

A prominent scene in the CBS clip for "The Good Wife" has to do with Alicia and the firm trying to keep a client from being put to death. Viewers are shown a scene of a convicted murderer being strapped to a lethal injection table. Alice is trying to convince someone that the execution is torture and a court needs to make a new decision.

Other spoilers about "The Good Wife" have come from the cast themselves. Graham Phillips plays Zach Florrick and took to Twitter to let fans know they are in for a shock. "Just finished reading episode #505 of "The Good Wife." Wow this is the "Red Wedding" episode of our show." "Red Wedding" is a reference to the "Game of Thrones" episode in which members of the main cast died. Phillips than clarified his tweet by saying no one is going to die but the episode is "like "Red Wedding" in the sense that it really shocks you."

"The Good Wife" herself Juliana Margulies recently gave a little away about the show in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "There's something incredibly profound about to happen to one of our characters, I say profound, because that will sort of make you all not know what it is," Margulies said. Keeping tight lipped and not giving away too many spoilers to ET, Margulies did say there would be issues coming between two law firms that "allows our characters to leave each other and then come back to each other in a great way."
