Music’s biggest party has begun! The 56th Annual Grammy’s promises to be an awesome event with a lot of great performers that will put their best show just for you. The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the United States will be recognizing the outstanding achievement in the music industry tonight. Among the nominated, which were announced back in Dec. 6, Jay Z is leading with nine in total, including best rap album. Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Justin Timberlake and Pharell Williams got seven nods each, while Drake and engineer Bob Ludwig followed with five.

Queen Bey kicked the celebrations off with a very seductive performance of “Drunk In Love” sitting on a chair Cabaret-style but of course, with the Beyoncé twist that makes her so unique. Mr. Carter himself made an appearance and boy were they on fire. Jay Z knew how to showcase his rap and his wife at the same time and the result was explosive! Once the performance was over, LL Cool J, your host of the night, took the stage to talk about how awesome music is and how it unites people from different backgrounds.

Later on, Pharell and Anna Kendrick proceeded to announce the winner for the Best New Artist category, which went to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, and Lorde took the stage to perform a deconstructed version of her hit "Royals." Hunter Hayes followed, debuting his song "Invisible" in a heart-felt performance that had his fans cheering for more. Colombian superstar Juanes joined Anna Faris to present the "Best Pop Duo/Group Performance" category, and the winners were Daft Punk feat. Pharell for "Get Lucky."

Steve Coogan took the stage to introduce Katy Perry, who had the stage set up like a mystic forrest, all dark and foggy, but her performance of "Dark Horse," however, brought the house down. Katy put on a show with acrobat dancers and she herself did a little "pole dancing" while Juicy J performed his collaboration. The performance literally fired up the stage as fire rose from it to give it an ending to talk about.

Chicago and Robin Thicke took the stage to perform a mashup of the band's hits such as "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?" "All That Matters" and "Saturday In The Park," to finish off with none other than "Blurred Lines," in a classic performance with a modern twist. Immediately, Keith Urban took the stage along Gary Clark Jr. to perform "Cop Car." John Legend followed, and he sat down in his piano to sing hit hit "All Of Me" in the most subtle and beautiful way while his wife Christine Teigen watch with her eyes full of love.

Following that sweet performance, the Grammys were ready to turn it up! With the award for "Best Rock Song" going to "Cut Me Some Slack" by Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Paul Smear. Taylor Swift quickly took the stage to perform "All Too Well." It was refreshing to see a more sincere Swift sitting by her piano and just singing and playing along. Pink wowed viewers with her acrobatic performance of "Try." She showed her great physique and aerial abilities and came down to the ground to sing her hit "Just Give Me A Reason" featuring Nate Ruess.

Ariana Grande and Miguel took the stage to introduce the nominees for "Best Pop Solo Performance." Lorde took the Grammy home for her song "Royals." Black Sabbath then introduced another legend, Ringo Starr, who performed his song "Photograph." Jamie Foxx introduced the "Best Rap/Sung Collaboration" category, which went to Jay Z and Justin Timberlake for "Holy Grail." Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons met onstage to do a mashup of their hits "M.A.A.D City" and "Radioactive." Dressed in white, their performance was like one of those Glee combinations that prove two different genres can come together and fusion well in harmony.

New country artist Kacey Musgraves made her Grammy debut performing her song "Follow Your Arrow," in a little neon oasis she created, paired with her boots that lit up, along with the jackets of all her band members. In probably one of the most iconic performances of the night, Ringo Starr joined Paul McCartney in the drums while the latter sang "Queenie Eye." Two of our favorite Latinos, Gloria Estefan and Marc Anthony got together to present "Best Pop Vocal Album." The Grammy went to Bruno Mars for "Unorthodox Jukebox."

An awaited performance that finally came was Blake Shelton with three of his music heroes, Country Music Hall of Famers Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard. Soon after, Kacey Musgraves won "Best Country Album" for "Same Trailer Different Park," and Daft Punk and Pharell Williams took the stage with legend Stevie Wonder to perform a mashup of "Get Lucky" and "Another Star."

Carole King and Sara Bareilles sat together on stage, each one on a piano, and it was delightful to see them mashing up their hits "Beautiful" and "Brave" and later presenting "Song of the Year." The Grammy went to Joel Little and Ella Yelich-O'Connor, the latter known professionally as Lorde, for their song "Royals," which they co-wrote. Another great combination of genres tonight was classical pianist Lang Lang performing "One" alongside Metallica in a show with fire, lasers and war graphics showing in the screens surrounding the stage. After their amazing performance, "Get Lucky' by Daft Punk , Pharell Williams and Nile Rodgers won "Record of the Year."

And the performance that will make headlines tomorrow is probably going to be Macklemore and Ryan Lewis'. The rap duo began with their song "Same Love" featuring Mary Lambert. Queen Latifah joined in the middle of the song to announce they were performing several weddings as the camera focused on diverse couples lined up in one of the hallways of the venue. Queen Latifah encouraged them to exchange rings, as Madonna made a special appearance singing "Open Your Heart." Lewis, whose own sister was part of the ceremony in getting married to her boyfriend, said in a previous interview that the weddings "will be in our minds the ultimate statement of equality, that all the couples are entitled to the same exact thing."

Lang Lang took the stage once again to introduce the "In Memoriam" segment with his amazing talent at the piano, and after we took a moment to honor those who we lost in the past year, Miranda Lambert and Billie Joe Armstrong combined their talents in a touching tribute to Phil Everly. Finally, the Grammy for "Album of the Year" was introduced and it went to Daft Punk for "Random Access Memories." Last but not least, to close the show with a bang, the Grammys got together Nine Inch Nails, Queens Of The Stone Age, Dave Grohl and Lindsey Buckingham from Fleetwood Mac on stage.
