GTA 5 Heists Delay
"GTA 5" Heists Update may not arrive until March! Rockstar

When PC gamers noticed that the Steam Store changed the "GTA 5" release date from January to "early 2015," rampant rumors suggested that Rockstar may delay the PC version of "GTA 5" from its original January 27 release date. Thankfully, Rockstar quickly responded to the concerns.

"GTA V will be coming to PC on January 27th. We have not announced any changes to this date at this time," said a spokesperson. However, Rockstar still has not revealed the game's PC system requirements. We expect the official specs to be announced during a Rockstar Q&A session dedicated for the PC version of "GTA 5."

As for the long-awaited "GTA 5" Heists update, initial speculation posed that the DLC could coincide with the release of the PC version. However, "GTA 5" tipster and YouTuber DomisLive admitted that Rockstar's "early 2015" release date timeframe is intentionally vague. In fact, DomisLive also points to a possibility that we may not see "GTA 5" Heists until March 2015.

According to Dom, an "early 2015" release essentially gives Rockstar the entire Q1 window to deliver the "GTA 5" Heists update. While, a brand-new DLC to coincide the PC release would be amazing news for fans, note that Rockstar did not offer any updates during the release of re-mastered "GTA 5" for PS4 and Xbox One. Because of this, Dom believes a DLC may not be available in January at all.

Based on the theory, Rockstar will take a break from DLC updates for the month of January. In the month of February, Rockstar may return with a holiday DLC featuring Valentine's Day themed items. Finally, Rockstar would wait until the month of March before releasing the "GTA Online" Heists update.

Let us know what you think about this theory. Stay tuned as we learn more concrete details in the days ahead.
